Putin proposes “direct negotiations without any preconditions”

Following the meeting of European heads of government with Zelensky, Putin has now proposed peace negotiations. He has not responded to the 30-day ceasefire demanded by Ukraine. "Putin first wants to negotiate a peace that suits his interests," says correspondent Christoph Wanner.
